Business Analyst - Digital Payments

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst specializing in digital payments to drive innovation and efficiency in our payment processes. Job Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage detailed requirements based on work sessions, conversations, emails, and written documentation.
• Recommend opportunities to improve processes and quickly identify risks to the development timeline.
• Thoughtfully organize large quantities of information for stakeholder reference.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital premium payments, understanding all details and functionalities of the payment portal.
• Partner with the Product Owner to review written requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Schedule and facilitate workshops to gather, document, and refine requirements.
• Execute business readiness activities, including developing communication plans to support changes to technology, processes, and people.
• Create data flow maps, business logic diagrams, and dependency mapping to enhance understanding and alignment.
• Identify dependencies and gaps in requirements and proactively address them.
• Create test cases and write requirements as if they will become test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Produce and maintain reports measuring business performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Desired Qualities and Experience:

• Strong listening, communication, and written skills to effectively gather and convey requirements.
• Experience in database and data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and PowerPoint for documentation and collaboration.
• Prior experience in payments and/or digital experience
• Knowledge of on/off exchange CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and insurance premium payment processes.
• Ability to ask thoughtful, probing questions to ensure clarity and predict impacts on projects.
• Comfortable engaging stakeholders across the enterprise at all levels to gather insights and feedback.
• Deep sense of accountability to the project and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our prospects and members.
