Position: Business Analyst (Data Governance)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% REMOTE)

Summary:

• Paradigm Technology is seeking a Data Governance Business Analyst to join our team and support Data Governance Initiatives
• The Data Governance Business Analyst will work closely with business units and IT teams to ensure data integrity and compliance
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Analytics
• Must have experience with Data Retention and Purging processes
• Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sectors is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Data Governance policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Data Owners and stakeholders across the organization to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
• Work with the Legal team to ensure Data Governance practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements
• Oversee Data Retention and Purging processes, ensuring they are executed in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize Solix for scheduling and managing Data Governance tasks
• Gather, review, and document requirements as needed

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Analytics
• Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Must have experience with Data Retention and Purging processes
• Experience working with Legal and Regulatory requirements related to Data Governance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including Data Owners and Legal teams
• Experience with gathering, reviewing, and documenting requirements on projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience with Data Governance tools, like Solix, Collibra, Informatica, or Ataccama, is preferred
• Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sectors is preferred
