Position Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) with Project Management skills to join a lean but highly effective team in our Long Island City office.

This is a Hybrid role with 2-3 days in office and the rest WFH.

Salary Range: $73,000 - $80,000 USD + 5% bonus

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to high-level technical and data analysis of proposed initiatives to identify requirements and propose solutions
• Contribute to the testing process for developed solutions
• Provide timely, accurate and concise status reporting highlighting progress, issues, and risks
• Help manage stakeholder expectations and communications
• Conduct data analyses and identify source systems and related data
• Work with user groups in gathering, interpreting, analyzing and documenting business requirements
• Develop project plans/timelines and work-break-down structures and communicate with the business in managing their needs/expectations
• Design, develop and test reports and data visualization dashboards using BI tools
• Develop design/functional specification documents for business requirements
• Work with the business intelligence team in developing business solutions
• Communicate and coordinate with business users in gathering requirements and testing/supporting applications
• Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting strict deadlines, tracking deliverables, and maintaining high-quality output

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of demonstrated successful Business Analyst experience
• Experience using MS Project and/or Confluence
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with executives, technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong excel skills with the ability to navigate through large data sets quickly (vLookup, pivot tables, etc)
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Previous experience with Sharepoint

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Previous work in a small to medium and growing organization
