Job Description:

The Business Analyst supports the Chief Data Officer (CDO) team and will help optimize/enhance the organization’s data governance, data science, and data management functions. More specifically, the Business Analyst’s role will be to help streamline data flows, maximize usability, support internal/external customer needs, and address data quality issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis and present findings/insights in an accurate, clear, and concise manner.
  • Actively participate in the design, documentation, execution, implementation, and presentation of analytic deliverables.
  • Lead and manage multiple large and complex projects concurrently using formal project planning techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders/clients to define project objectives and goals, scope, approach, resource requirements, and risks and communications strategy; align business processes across multiple stakeholder groups; and facilitate the creation and execution of project plans.
  • Author and update internal and external documentation; formally deliver requirements and detailed documentation.
  • Respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
  • Provide guidance to the team on performance/productivity issues, assist clients with solving critical issues, and identify innovative solutions to resolve complex problems.
  • Assist, guide, and improve data management and data modeling activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related business and analytical experience.
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience involving clinical systems (such as EHR) and claims data (such as EDI).
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, including ability to summarize the results of data analysis for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to communicate analytic results and business requirements via in person meetings, web conferences, and technical/non-technical documents to cross-functional audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced, ever-changing, start-up environment.
  • Extensive experience and proficiency leveraging SQL, including loading data, joining tables, as well as writing update and select statements.
  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets and other office productivity applications to share and present analytic results.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience with modern relational databases, database management, and data modeling.
  • Experience with data modeling tools such as ERWin is preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS, Python, and R is preferred.

Check that the contact information provided in the job posting, including email addresses and phone numbers, aligns with our official contact information. Scammers often use generic or non-company email addresses.

  • What is the sender’s email address? Is it consistent with other job postings from this company? Email addresses that are slightly different from any business’s primary contact information (Jane.Doe@IntegraConnect.org vs John.Doe@Integra Connect.com) are a common warning sign.
  • If you are contacted through LinkedIn, be sure to review the entire profile to verify their credentials.
