Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across diverse business units.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to the GuidePoint Security user base, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, meticulously documenting business requirements.
  • Ability to meticulously document and analyze business process, identify process gaps, and drive simplicity in process that promotes support scalability and reliability
  • Leverage an informed knowledge of business areas to aid in issue resolution or technical redesign efforts.
  • Elicit, document, and refine business and non-functional requirements to articulate stakeholder goals effectively.
  • Embrace organizational changes through continuous learning and effective communication.
  • Eagerness to learn and, at times, share knowledge with/train other members of the IT team.
  • Communicate progress, challenges and issues to management in an effective, consistent and timely manner
  • Ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team, across multiple projects at once, and in a remote setting
  • Be willing to work in an environment that promotes new ideas, “thinks outside the box” and strives for excellence and enjoyment in providing all aspects of application solutions to the business
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of business analyst experience or equivalent business knowledge.
  • Certifications with ERP, CRM, and PSA applications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated work history aligning with the responsibilities of this position.
  • Proficiency in various aspects of organizational functions, including Sales, Quoting, Order Management, Project Management and Costing, Service Delivery, and Finance (GL, AP, AR, and Reporting).
  • Proven ability to comprehend and contribute to functional requirements, along with the aptitude to communicate changes at a functional level and across different organizational levels.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, adhere to timelines, and provide an appropriate level of service to the business.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with diagramming applications such as Visio.


Travel Requirements:


  • Approximately 10% out-of-town travel to regional offices and/or data centers
  • Work remotely or at the regional office when not traveling


Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work
  • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
