Summary – We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our technology project management/digital transformation team. The primary focus of this role will be to analyze and document business processes, identify process gaps, gather requirements to address these gaps, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. The successful candidate will work closely with various business stakeholders, manage small projects, and play a crucial role in enhancing our business processes.
Essential Duties:
Business Process Documentation
Analyze and document current business processes within the food manufacturing environment.
Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and related documentation to provide a comprehensive understanding of existing procedures.
Gap Analysis
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current business processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points and areas for improvement.
Requirements Gathering
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for addressing process gaps.
Ensure a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives.
Training Requirements
Identify training needs arising from process improvements or changes.
Develop training materials and collaborate with the training team to facilitate smooth transitions.
Test Planning and Execution
Develop comprehensive test plans based on gathered requirements.
Execute test plans, ensuring that changes meet specified requirements and do not negatively impact existing processes.
Project Management
Manage small projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Stakeholder Interaction
Regularly interact with business stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, present findings, and obtain approvals.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
Project management experience, with the ability to manage small projects independently.
Proficient in business process modeling tools and techniques.
Familiarity with quality assurance and testing processes.
