Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Must come into office 2-3x a week

Position Purpose
As a member of the IT Enterprise Portfolio Management team, the IT Business Analyst will perform all duties related to the requirements gathering process from project inception through end-to-end testing. This role involves capturing and documenting business requirements and creating and maintaining traceability throughout the project cycle. The position requires interaction with business counterparts and IT technical resources.
Primary Responsibilities
Requirements Planning:
Plan and coordinate the requirements gathering process
Requirements Elicitation:
Use appropriate elicitation techniques to efficiently identify critical requirements.
Lead requirements gathering sessions with business leaders and facilitate stakeholder processes to find common ground on business needs, process requirements, and prioritization.
Documentation:
Create comprehensive documentation (e.g., functional requirements, non-functional requirements, user stories) understandable by highly technical outsourced or distributed teams.
Responsible for traceability matrices to ensure that all project and program requirements are delivered through business processes and software objects.
Analysis and Refinement:
Analyze and refine business, functional, and operational requirements.
Ensure requirements are testable and define testing objectives.
Technical Vision:
Quickly understand technical vision and align interactions and meetings with steps to achieve the future state.
Relationship Building:
Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and utilize these relationships to meet sponsor project and program objectives in a timely manner.
Communication:
Effectively communicate business needs and organizational changes across the team.
Work with the IT Project Manager on communications with internal and external sources.
Project Support:
Support multiple service line leaders and projects as allocation needs change.
Experience with SaaS-based applications and how to elicit requirements to meet technology needs.
Specific Skills Needed
Strong communication and written skills.
Core business analysis experience, particularly in manufacturing.
Preferable knowledge of Oracle ERP or SAP.
Strong knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Visio).
Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Effective organization and time management skills.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of executive and line management.
Proven track record of working with complex system environments.
Ability to understand and manipulate concepts to design solutions fitting high-level business requirements and everyday limitations.
Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow.
Experience in Waterfall and IT SDLC project implementations.
French speaking skills are a nice to have.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Experience with SAP applications is a plus.
