Accuterm Functional Analyst
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Location: 100% Remote
A functional analyst for Accuterm is responsible for various technical and analytical tasks to
ensure the efficient operation and enhancement of software systems. Here’s a detailed job

Accuterm Functional Analyst Job Description
Position Overview: The Accuterm Functional Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and
optimizing the use of the Accuterm software within the organization. This role involves working
closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to gather requirements,
analyze business processes, and implement solutions within accuterm to leverage the business
processes and Accuterm platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into detailed
business requirements.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows to identify
opportunities for improvement using Accuterm.
Document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
2. System Configuration and Management:
Configure and maintain Accuterm applications to meet business requirements.
Ensure the system is optimally set up and used, aligning with best practices and
industry standards.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and customizations in collaboration with the
IT team.
3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide level 2/3 technical support for Accuterm-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with the software vendor as
necessary.
Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements to ensure
optimal functionality.
4. Training and Documentation:
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance their
understanding and use of Accuterm.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system
configuration, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
5. Project Management:
Lead and manage Accuterm-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and
alignment with business goals.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and
user adoption.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize Accuterm's reporting tools to generate and analyze reports, providing
insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Accuterm system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business
Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably
with Accuterm or other terminal emulation software.
Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical
requirements.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with
stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with project management methodologies.
Familiarity with other software applications and tools used in conjunction with Accuterm.
Certification in business analysis or project management.
This role requires a proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to work independently and
as part of a team to drive continuous improvement in the use of Accuterm software across the
organization.
