Business Affairs Manager - NY (Theater focus)

We are seeking a Business Affairs Manager with theater experience for our NY office. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter with 2+ years' experience in the entertainment industry, working in business affairs or entertainment law firm. The primary focus will be to support our Theater department in NY and work closely with the legal team in LA.

Please note: the position is on-site in our NYC office. MUST HAVE experience with theater agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating and managing a high volume of short-form and long-form contracts, including theater, influencer, endorsement, appearance, NDA, personal-services agreements
• Fostering positive long-term relationships with the agency’s agents and clients
• Managing deal flow across the Theater department

Qualifications:

• Admitted NY or CA attorney with 2 years of transactional legal/business affairs experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with theater agreements and/or familiarity with the theater industry
• Outstanding drafting, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with a range of personalities and styles in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated passion for your chosen field, and a genuine commitment to workplace equity

Salary: $80-95K total compensation
