Happy Munkey is looking for part-time budtenders with a passion for cannabis to join our dispensary team located in upper Manhattan!

Our budtenders are the backbone of success at Happy Munkey and embody the company mission of meeting people where they are in their cannabis journey. We’re looking for candidates who are friendly, approachable, and excited to provide world-class experiences to everyone who walks through the dispensary doors.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere that reflects Happy Munkey's values.
• Educate customers on various cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
• Assist customers in selecting products that align with their desired experiences, offering personalized recommendations and guidance.
• Process transactions through the POS system with precision, handling cash and card payments efficiently and securely.
• Ensure the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulations.
• Maintain compliance by following proper policies and procedures set by Happy Munkey and NYS regulations.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
  
  

Required to complete duties at assigned workstations, as determined by management, during scheduled shifts including:

• Front of House: Check-In, Sales Floor, POS (Kiosk, In-Store, Pre-Order/Express Pick-up)
• Maintenance: Uphold cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards throughout the dispensary
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Previous cannabis knowledge required.
• At least one year of customer service experience in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements to meet business needs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Ability to work well with leadership and team members.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, lift, and bend without accommodation.
  
  

Salary

$19 - $22 USD per hour
