Broker (Junior or Senior) - Diverse Asset Classes - Global Independent Brokerage

Senior Broker – Any Asset Class – NYC or Remote U.S.

Summary:

Our client is a globally leading, independent broker that delivers a wide range of cross-asset execution and advisory solutions. This includes extensive financial product coverage, liquidity discovery, research and analysis as well as access to all major exchanges and regulated markets.

They are currently expanding their US team and are looking for experienced brokers coming from diverse asset classes to join their team.

Product coverage includes but is not limited to:

• Cash Equities
• Equity Derivatives
• Commodities
• Fixed Income & OTC Interest Rate
• Futures and Options
• FX Spot & FX Options

The objective of this position is to drive revenue and establish, maintain and grow positive relationships with institutional clients including but not limited to investment banks, pensions funds, hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading desks and insurance companies.

Candidates for this role must have an established, portable and strong book of business with solid capital markets relationships.

What you will do:

• Introduce new client relationships to company, manage those relationships, and produce revenue through execution brokerage.
• Spearhead trade execution and advise on investment strategies across a broad range of asset classes
• Continuously monitors market information and price action during the day
• Identifies opportunities to solicit new business; responsible for providing constant proactive sales and trading coverage to institutional clients
• Collaborate with a seasoned team of financial professionals who are reshaping the future of electronic finance
• Potential to establish your own desk in an untapped market

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred
• Relevant FINRA Licenses
• An established and portable book of business
• Experience in capital markets, with a keen interest in developing expertise in new and existing markets.
• Strong knowledge of global financial markets and various trading strategies
• Exceptional communication, capable of building strong relationships with key accounts.
• Excellent decision making, negotiation, results and detailed oriented skills; ability to make real-time trading decisions weighing complex circumstances under considerable time pressure
