The Role

The QuoteWell team is looking for an energetic Broker to join our team and continue to build out our brokerage offering. Experience in construction, environmental, or energy risks is a plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive sales and new carrier appointments to grow QuoteWell's footprint
  • Support the continued evolution of wholesale operations at QuoteWell
  • Complete licensed-related activity as part of each surplus lines transaction
  • Interact with Carriers and Agents across the quote-bind-issue portion of the policy lifecycle
  • Support renewal operations
  • Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to build solutions to streamline efforts across the full policy lifecycle in the surplus lines space

What You’ll Need

  • 6+ years of full-time experience in a similar role producing at a wholesaler
  • Both Texas general and surplus lines licenses
  • Strong sales / producer abilities
  • Ability to handle high-volume deals, generating quotes and servicing policies quickly
  • Excellent communication skills: both in-person and written
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • A natural desire to see things through and a history of being scrappy when it counts
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
