Teal Health is on a mission to provide women with the tools, access, and resources they need to make their own, informed decisions regarding their health—starting with cervical cancer screenings. By allowing a woman the choice to self-collect in the comfort and convenience of her own home, we can increase access to this critical screening and work to eradicate cervical cancer in the US. 


We believe it’s time to redesign women’s health and put women, their preferences, and their experiences at the center. As such, we need a creative and passionate Brand Designer who can help prepare us visually as we move toward product and market readiness. 


You will work with the marketing team to help with all design needs, ranging from social, web and various digital assets, physical collateral and presentation slides. The Brand Designer will work alongside our web development agency to implement all website designs and ensure they’re developed and tested for mobile and desktop environments. While this is a part-time role (approximently 20 hours a week) someone to take ownership of our visual brand. We need a creative and passionate leader to bring the Teal brand to life as we approach our public launch. This person will be measured against successful project completion within deadlines.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage multiple ongoing projects including request intakes, scope clarification and prioritization
  • Design and development of all marketing materials, including: website pages, social media images, digital paid advertising assets, physical collateral, slide presentations, research reports, one-sheeters, videos, and other marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with key marketing and executive team members to ensure quality and consistency in all aspects of our brand presence 
  • Bring copy and concepts to life through compelling visuals 


Requirements:


  • 5+ years design experience – consumer brands a plus
  • Online portfolio of relevant work examples
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, and illustrator – CAD design experience a plus
  • Experience working within existing brand guidelines and expanding/innovating on those guidelines
  • Able to manage timelines and work well independently, as well as under the direction of others
  • Knowledge of how to prepare files for optimal online use and print, bleed areas, CMYK, Pantone, RGB, etc.
  • Understanding of how to design for all digital channels - especially websites (web, mobile, tablet, etc.)
