POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand and Product Marketing Manager for the Body Care category will help lead overall brand and product strategy for the Find Comfort Body Collection. This person is responsible for driving product marketing plans and executing go-to-market plans for new and core products. Must be able to build strong relationships with cross functional teams and work collaboratively with creative, product development, PR/influencer, partnerships, retail marketing, sales, education, social, visual merchandising, demand planning, etc., all while managing top management requests and the day-to-day business needs. This role will report to the VP of Brand and Product Marketing and requires someone who is creative, analytical and a strong self-starter who can take initiative with little direction. Must have body care and fragrance experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and drive end-to-end development of impactful storytelling campaigns, from strategic ideation to content/asset creation for all product launches, collaborations, promotional moments and brand storytelling
  • Work with Vice President to help build global body care product marketing strategy by leading development of compelling and unique product concepts that fit within franchise positioning, leveraging consumer insights, understanding of gaps in market and portfolio
  • Manage and lead the creation of product claims, marketing copy & educational language
  • Help develop engaging and educational product marketing campaigns in partnership with consumer marketing, retail marketing, creative and EDU
  • Be the body care category expert/liaison for internal teams ensuring cross-functional teams have all the appropriate info and support to activate in their respective channels (i.e. creative, consumer marketing, social, PR/influencer, PD, education, retail marketing, sales, etc).
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to communicate global messaging, calendar updates and product positioning to ensure a cohesive brand and product approach
  • Be able to clearly and concisely brief copywriters and creative team members on desired content to support core and new product launches
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Manage 360 execution of gondola copy updates, digital asset management & retailer PDP responsibilities – must have Sephora.com p-page experience
  • Actively stay updated on industry trends, competitors' activities and be the body category expert through ongoing analysis, and knowledge of category dynamics and competition
  • Additional responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-6+ years of experience required in the Beauty industry and must have experience in body/fragrance category (required)
  • Must have Sephora.com page experience
  • Must be a self-starter with the ambition to learn more and willing to think outside of the box
  • Must have a strong understanding of brand development levers (i.e. trends, consumer behavior, claims testing, fragrances, packaging, agency management, etc)
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong strategic thinker, action and results oriented
  • Must be a strong collaborative, team player who can take initiative
  • Ability to foster teamwork at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects with varying launch dates simultaneously, all while meeting project deadlines on-time
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations, and results
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to see the big picture and think strategically
