Biotech Automation Manager - Six Sigma, Manufacturing, Delta V

The Biotech Automation Manager position is a highly responsible and exciting role in a fast-paced biotech production environment with a focus on automation and robotics. This is an opportunity to join a leader in the biopharmaceutical industry and to work on cutting-edge automation projects. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced automation professional with an extensive background in robotics, automation, and instrumentation.

The Biotech Automation Manager will be responsible for coordinating, trouble shooting, and supervising all aspects of automation engineering in the production facility. They must have a deep understanding of automated equipment and process control systems, including Delta V, DCS, CMMS, SCADA, PLC, HMI, AC, DC, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet. This position also requires a good working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles. The successful candidate should have experience with chemical processing, filtration, centrifugation, precipitation, chromatography, bioreactors, CIP, SIP, and mass flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support related to automation and process control systems.
• Lead automation and robotics projects.
• Coordinate, troubleshoot, and supervise all aspects of automation engineering.
• Maintain a high level of communication with stakeholders.
• Implement Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Develop and implement best practices for automation and process control.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automation and robotics engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of Delta V, DCS, CMMS, SCADA, PLC, HMI, AC, DC, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet systems.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with chemical processing, filtration, centrifugation, precipitation, chromatography, bioreactors, CIP, SIP, and mass flow
