Prelude is seeking a motivated and skilled chemical biologist to join our Bioconjugation team at the Research Associate level. Prelude has initiated research to discover novel precision antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and the Research Associate will be an integral part of our expanding Bioconjugation laboratory.
Prelude is a clinical-stage biotechnology company founded by proven scientists in cancer drug development. Our research is focused on developing highly selective and differentiated therapeutic agents targeting novel pathways for the treatment of cancer. To date, the team has discovered and advanced six highly potent and selective compounds into human clinical trials to treat patients with cancer. The Research Associate, Bioconjugation is an integral member of a Project Team that produces ADCs, collaborates with medicinal chemists on linker-payload design, and assists analytical chemists in ADC purification and analysis to advance novel ADCs from hit identification to development candidate selection.
Responsibilities
Use a variety of bioconjugation techniques to prepare novel ADCs
Perform bioconjugation reactions utilizing diverse linker-payloads and antibodies
Collaborate and communicate effectively to share research results and develop new ideas with cross-functional team
Maintain accurate ELN records of experiments and analytical data
Maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
BS/MS in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field with one to five years industry experience.
Skill in protein conjugation with track record of accomplishments with ADCs or in related field
Experience in performing analysis and purification of ADCs using various techniques (e.g., SEC, HIC, PLRP, LC/MS)
