Supervises all Billing personnel on functions necessary for timely daily processing of current billing and secondary charges.
Essential Functions
Responsible to ensure that all charges for all locations are accurately posted in a timely manner, as well as all system edits are corrected and billed out in a timely manner
Reviews outstanding charges routinely and communicates to appropriate facility and/or staff members in order to complete the billing process
Audits, corrects, and retrains staff as needed to ensure that all billers are up-to-date on the medical billing and payer guidelines
Responsible for evaluating the performance of the Billing Department staff members
Education/Experience
Two years management experience preferred
Two years experience in billing and collections
Qualifications
Detail orientated with excellent organizational and communication skills
