JOB TITLE: Billing Supervisor

General Summary Of Duties

Supervises all Billing personnel on functions necessary for timely daily processing of current billing and secondary charges.

Essential Functions

• Responsible to ensure that all charges for all locations are accurately posted in a timely manner, as well as all system edits are corrected and billed out in a timely manner
• Reviews outstanding charges routinely and communicates to appropriate facility and/or staff members in order to complete the billing process
• Audits, corrects, and retrains staff as needed to ensure that all billers are up-to-date on the medical billing and payer guidelines
• Responsible for evaluating the performance of the Billing Department staff members
  
  

Education/Experience

• Two years management experience preferred
• Two years experience in billing and collections

Detail orientated with excellent organizational and communication skills
