Job Title: Billing Supervisor Reports to: Controller

Summary/Objective
Under the direction of the Controller, the Billing Supervisor manages the accounting functions related to billing clients. This position leads the team of Billing Specialists by ensuring that they work effectively and efficiently. The Billing Supervisor position requires strong attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills as they are frequently working with various departments, customers, and vendors.
Essential Function
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Supervisor the day to day billing operations activities
Proactive in identification of simplification/ automation opportunities
Assist in on-boarding, training, and reviewing performance of staff
Maintain preparation of statements and bills
Utilization of metrics to improve performance
Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma required, Associates Degree in Accounting or Business preferred
3+ years of billing experience
3+ years in a supervisory role
Must have excellent computer skills
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and well organized
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a commitment to reach goals and meet deadlines
Outstanding positive attitude with the ability to grasp and embrace the company's overall goals and objectives and portray to customers and staff
Must have excellent inter-personal skills and be responsive in oral and written communication with associates at all levels
Must have excellent reconciliation and analytical skills
Must have track record of taking initiative and being pro-active in producing quality accounting
solutions under time constraints
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
