Billing Specialist

Advanced Mechanical Solutions/Helios is looking for a Billing Specialist to work onsite at our headquarters in Maitland, FL to build and review invoices for accuracy and bill jobs to customers. The ideal candidate must be able to think critically, multitask, and work independently.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Monitor Billing Email for Invoice and/or Update Requests from Clients as well as emails from Company personnel.
• Reconciling Labor, Material, and “Other” job costs in company software.
• Reviewing Service History and Notes to determine billable work vs warranty work.
• Monitor Invoicing Deadlines for Clients and Ensure timely delivery of invoices.
• Update & Submit Client forms, service notes, via email or web portal.
• Create and Submit invoices to Clients with required back up documentation via email, mail or web portal upload.
• Create and Submit accounting statements to Clients and follow up on aged invoices each month.
• Upload Documents, Photos and Notes to web portals or email.
  
  

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• 1-2 years Billing experience required.
• High school education or GED required; Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Accounting background & HVAC/R or related construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in billing and creating invoices required.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Teams.
  
  

Helios determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $24/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
