As part of the Adelante Mujeres Regenerative Agriculture and Land Access team, the Regenerative Agriculture Assistant helps in all aspects of the preparation and coordination of the regenerative agriculture education and hands on training in our community garden. The Assistant will promote a community space for participant engagement and intercultural exchange and support local beginner farmers that want to start private or commercial ventures. The Regenerative Agriculture Assistant will report to the Regenerative Agriculture and Land Access Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Assist in all operational processes of the regenerative agriculture education and training calendar year.
Oversee and assist with community garden maintenance.
Support marketing and outreach including development of promotional material (photography, video, simple edits) via various outlets including social media, website, news channels, distributing event posters, and more evaluate program needs and resources.
Support in site visits, interviews, and inspections depending on farm or program need
Assist in follow-up with participants on action plans and skills development, monthly specialty workshops and special events such as Día del Agricultor Latino.
Availability to work on-site frequently on evenings and weekends.
Qualifications

A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
Associate degree in Education, Agriculture, and Farming Systems or strongly related field or 2+ years of direct experience in regenerative agriculture.
Experience facilitating/teaching using popular education methods;
Experience working with the Latine community in regenerative agriculture practices, and local food distribution systems.
Demonstrated ability to implement and lead projects or programs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Zoom, Canva, and other virtual platforms
Bilingual-Bicultural Spanish/English
Committed to education, social justice, women's empowerment and the environment
Additional Requirements:
COVID-19 vaccine and booster required.

Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $22 -$24 per hour, depending on qualifications
Classification: Full-Time, Hourly
Telework: up to 2 days a week, with frequent on-site evening and weekend work
