Benefits Manager
Our client is a leading financial services firm in their market niche and is currently looking for a Senior Benefits Specialist to join the HR team supporting employees across the US and Canada.
You will be responsible for the management and administration of multiple benefit streams but also focused on developing, driving and embedding benefit policy and process. This includes all medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D, voluntary benefits, leaves of absence, wellness, and 401(k) plan. You will manage new hire onboarding and orientation ad hoc benefit training, workshops and enquiries. You will partner weekly with the payroll and finance team to ensure accuracy and high-quality data management. You will also support on audit and compliance activities as required. This position is remote but will need to be based in an east coast time zone and reports to the Head of Benefits.
To be successful in this position you will be comfortable presenting and communicating with employees in a professional manner. You will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is solution focused in evolving benefits processes. You will need multistate Benefits experience, be comfortable using pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s in Excel and any experience with Workday is beneficial.
