Benefits Manager

Role: Benefits Manager
As Ambient Enterprises continues its dynamic growth, we are seeking a Benefits Manager to lead the benefits and wellness initiatives for Ambient Enterprises and our subsidiaries. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the administration, management, and strategic direction of our comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee perks.
You’ll be an integral part of our dynamic, nationwide HR team, reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and collaborating closely with stakeholders and leaders across our diverse companies. This position offers a unique opportunity for a proactive professional to shape strategic benefits approaches and make a significant impact on our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with leadership and health and welfare vendors for smooth administration of all plans.
- Own 401k management - liaise with vendors and provide updates to employees.
- Manage Open Enrollment – you’ll work with our CHRO and Benefits broker to oversee open enrollment and employee communications.
- Onboard and offboard employees onto the health and welfare plans.
- Handle Workman’s Comp inquiries – you’ll be the go-to for any questions and stay up to date on any state and federal laws around claims.
- Field Benefits questions – we’ll look to you to provide info, guide people to correct resources and be the subject matter expert for all Benefits matters.
- Manage all leave and leave policies and processes – working directly with the business, individual, payroll and HRBPs.
- Analyze trends and best practices in the market – consult on Benefits and Wellness offerings and initiatives.
- Program Management – you’ll work with HR team members and leaders across the country on cross functional projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5-7 Years of experience in Benefits Management or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits programs, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
- Experience with Compensation and Wellness a plus
- Experience with distributed offices, companies or M&A a plus
Estimated Salary - $100,000 - $115,000 - compensation. Salary is ultimately commensurate with your expertise, industry standards, and years of experience.
