We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Coordinator to join our team. The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding benefit inquiries.

What you'll do:

  • Administer all employee benefits programs including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Process enrollment changes in benefits systems accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers, brokers, and other vendors to resolve benefit-related issues and ensure smooth administration of benefits programs.
  • Assist employees with understanding their benefits options, eligibility requirements, and coverage details.
  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and participate in benefits education initiatives.
  • Prepare and distribute benefits communications, including open enrollment materials, summary plan descriptions, and other related documents.
  • Stay updated on changes to benefit laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive data with integrity.
  • Process monthly invoicing for benefit vendors and ensure timely payments.

Who you are:

  • Knowledge of benefit plan design, administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration software and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve benefit-related issues efficiently.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements and ethical standards in handling employee information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
