We are always looking ahead to develop innovative new products and services to improve our customers' safety, security, and productivity.We are currently seeking a Benefits Analyst for our Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.


PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This position’s primary responsibility is oversight and day-to-day administration of the company’s benefits programs and Workday Benefits Module.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for implementation and administration of the group plans including but not limited to health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA programs, life, AD&D, disability, and Retirement Savings Plan.


Partners with team to identify areas of opportunity as it relates to benefit and well-being programs and offerings to enhance employee experience and plan participation as well as competitiveness within the market.

Partners with Benefits Manager and Talent Management team to develop and manage the employee benefits communication strategy.

Serve as 2nd Tier for more complex related questions for benefits and claim issues.

Assists with annual enrollment process including system configuration design and testing, communications, providing employee assistance as required and auditing enrollment data (including resolution of errors).


Responsible for system functionality for benefit plans and partners with HRIS to ensure accurate configuration and file integrations to vendors. Identify areas to process improve and streamline.


Conducts regular benefit audits to maintain data integrity and accurate system functionality.


Generates ad hoc reports and benefits analysis upon request.


Responsible for all regulatory and legal compliance related filings for benefit plans, and wellness programs, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc. Gathers information, performs, and analyzes required discrimination tests, and provides information to internal departments and government agencies.

Ensures accurate and timely payment of all benefit invoices.

Provide input to Benefits Manager regarding opportunities for improvement whether process related or related to benefits offerings.

Serves as a back-up to Leave of Absence Administrator for Leave of Absence requests as well as Benefits and Wellness Coordinator for daily inquiries and new hire enrollment meetings.

Complete special projects as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with more than 3 years’ experience in corporate employee benefits, with basic knowledge of other areas of HR.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience in an HR Shared Service Team.
  • Workday experience required; specific benefits module experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problematic issues, research, and follow through to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively escalate when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business and employee needs and make recommendations to meet those needs.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills. Proficient in MS Excel and other Office Suite Products.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Promote positive employee relations as well as understanding of benefits programs through timely, accurate and thorough response to employee benefits inquiries.

Ensure timely and accurate employee benefits enrollment through effective processes and audits.


Must stay apprised of benefits changes / offerings and look for ways to continuously improve the company’s benefits package.
