Bench Jeweler

Bench Jewelers are an integral part of Rummell Jewelry. At Rummell Jewelry, we create custom pieces

in-house and pride ourselves on being a locally-owned business in the heart of Ken Caryl, Colorado. As

one of our bench jewelers, you will perform all requested and necessary work on jewelry to include

setting, sizing, welding, soldering, polishing, engraving, cleaning and other work consistent with

Rummell Jewelry standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities as a member of our high performing team, will include providing exceptional service and

helping team members do the same. Daily responsibilities may include:

-working professionally, efficiently, and courteously with Rummell staff, fostering teamwork and respect

-consulting directly with staff and occasionally clients to help ensure that our clients’ needs are being

met through the jewelry making process and/or repair process

-maintaining safety and security protocols including those specifically associated with our shop

equipment and chemicals

-Casting, investing wax models, finishing and polishing

-set diamonds, round and fancy, and gemstones in all types of setting styles

-repair and restoration of jewelry (sizing, soldering, laser welding, etc)

-maintaining an organized workspace

Qualifications

-3+ years of prior bench experience

-must possess a high level of visual acuity and manual dexterity

-great ability to provide and receive feedback from peers, supervisors, and clients

-adapt behaviors with coaching and feedback

-comfortable with technology

-must be able to effectively manage deadlines

-ability to pass a bench test
