Bench Jeweler

Meierotto Jewelers is Kansas City’s leading jewelry store. We carry the largest selection of diamonds and jewelry, watches and more! We are located just minutes north of downtown Kansas City.

We are actively searching for a Bench Jeweler to join our team who will be responsible for working with gold, silver, platinum and other metals. They are also responsible for sizing rings, mounting diamonds and gemstones, cleaning and polishing, repairing jewelry, custom jewelry and modifications and other tasks assigned. This position is for an in-house Bench Jeweler only.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years proven experience as a bench jeweler
• Comfortable working with a laser welder and torch
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of workmanship
• Ability to work in a face-paced environment
• Fluent with the polishing process and finishing techniques
• Must be able to manage deadlines
• Must be able to sit for extended periods

Work Hours & Benefits

This is a full-time position and will be located on site. This is not a remote position. Typical 5 day work week, except during the busy Christmas season where business hours are extended.
