We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Behavior Technician to join our team. This position is for the 2nd shift and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering superior home care services.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one behavior therapy services to individuals with special needs, including children and adults
Implement treatment plans and behavior support strategies developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all applicable regulations
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including caregivers, parents, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure continuity of care and maximize client outcomes
Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards while promoting a safe and supportive environment for clients
Assist with the assessment and observation of client behavior, identifying areas of concern and recommending appropriate interventions
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to continually enhance skills and knowledge in the field of behavior analysis
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
Previous experience working with individuals with special needs or behavioral challenges is desirable
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to provide compassionate care with sensitivity to individual needs and cultural differences
