Behavioral Health Technician | Adult Mental Health

Be involved in patient care activities which may involve assisting with the needs and comfort of patients to include hygiene, activity, nutrition and treatments; therapeutic interactions with patients, patient safety rounds, vital signs, patient and belonging searches, patient transportation to tests/procedures, and gathering patient and family information.

Schedule

• Part-time | St. Cloud Hospital | Adult Mental Health Unit
• 56 hours every two weeks | day & evening rotation | 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
• 24-32 hours every two weeks | rotating shifts
• 32-48 hours every two weeks | straight evenings | 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
• 48 hours every two weeks | 8 & 12-hour overnight rotation | 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. & 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• 56 hours every two weeks | 8-hour overnight | 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• 32 hours every two weeks | 8-hour overnight | 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• Every other or every third weekend | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | Holiday rotation
  
  

Pay And Benefits

• $17.84 or more per hour, pay determined by experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 2 years of college with courses in psychology, sociology, and/or social work preferred.
• Six months experience in nursing assistant or similar role preferred.
• Must be able to effectively handle escalating behavior and utilize physical safety holds with aggressive patients.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training initial and on-going training provided.
