Behavioral Health, Human Services Redesign and Transformation Lead - Human Services Program Consultant - Remote | WFH

Job Summary

This position offers telework options within Minnesota or neighboring states, with flexible hours available. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with executive and senior management to enhance our business processes strategically. Your role involves aligning business process redesign efforts across different departments, ensuring cohesive and effective operations. You will consult with senior management and administration teams, guiding them through necessary changes to support our focus on integrated, person-centered services and technical solutions.

Joining a cross-administration team, you will collaborate with human services planners and the Business Solutions Office. Together, you will drive program and policy changes, ensuring consistency and coordination across all Department of Human Services (DHS) administrations and MN.IT Services. Your expertise in behavioral health programs will be crucial as you represent our administration in interactions with IT project leads, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT solutions. Your role will also involve strategic planning, policy implementation, and fostering data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Three (3) years of specialized experience in the Human/Healthcare Services industry, in roles such as Business Consultant, Analyst, or similar.

Practical experience in human services programs infrastructure related to behavioral health delivery.

Understanding of project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Familiarity with major IT systems such as MMIS, MAXIS, PRISM, SSIS, MEC2, and MNsure.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience collaborating effectively across diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Data management skills from a business user perspective.

Ability to analyze current business states and design new processes and structures.

Familiarity with Minnesota's healthcare and social service infrastructures and associated IT systems.

Proficiency in Excel, statistics, and delivering data through reports and presentations.

Master's Degree or higher in health sciences, public health, psychology, or related field.

Additional Requirements

Completion of a Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check for all finalists.

Employee reference checks, including a review of job performance documentation and former employer contacts, will be conducted for all finalists.
