Job Role Summary

The Clinician at Eskenazi Health performs individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices. Responsibilities

  • Embrace the Recovery Model and practice techniques like AIDET and motivational interviewing
  • Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations and develop integrated diagnostic summaries and clinical treatment plans
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions based on competency levels
  • Provide quality case management services and monitor client progress through accurate clinical documentation
  • Engage with community resources and assist clients in accessing them
  • Advocate for clients to ensure access to necessary services and develop community relationships
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of activities and reports

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a Human Services field
  • Candidates with a Master's in Social Work must hold a Licensed Social Work (LSW) and be working towards a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
  • Valid Indiana driver's license meeting Eskenazi Health's requirements
  • Specific credentials required for working in the Opioid Treatment Program

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to implement a strengths-based, community treatment model
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of psychiatric/addiction diagnoses and treatments
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Crisis intervention skills and ability to apply complex directives and regulations
