AS A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ASSISTANT, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the total nursing care for all patients within our Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit utilizing standards of care

Qualificiations

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of experience in a behavioral health type setting required OR enrolled in an associates or bachelors program, preferably nursing
  • Have Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Have Comprehensive Crisis Management certification within 6 months of start date in department/position
  • Have ability to work flexible hours including shift, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
