Major Food Group seeks an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our team at ZZ’s Club!
A private membership club by Major Food Group that originated in Miami, ZZ's Club is an exclusive, modern social space designed for those individuals who appreciate the highest caliber of culinary, hospitality and entertainment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and train bar personnel while creating and maintaining a professional, respectful, cooperative and collaborative work environment.
Following and supporting the entire Cycle of Service to ensure that no service points are overlooked and, through providing direction to bartenders and bar backs
Develop and support existing systems to develop structure within the beverage department
Liaise with the property beverage manager to count, finalize and support inventory on a monthly basis
Manage, train, develop head bartenders, bartenders and bar backs.
Oversee current liquor inventory, making sure all spirits lists, cocktail books and back bars are up to date
Oversee the storage and organization of spirits & beer, adhering to the proper organization and temperature standards.
Conduct monthly inventory overseeing a team of bartenders and ensuring it is accurate
Assist management general manager and management team in day to day operations of the members club, including service in operational hours
Support with organization of events and success
Ensure Major Food Group and ZZ’s clubs operational standards are met by the team on a day to day basis
Educate the managers and staff.Responsible for all beverage related data entry into the Toast POS system as well as all upkeep and general maintenance.
Assist General Manager and Head of Bar Operations in recruiting new Bartenders and barbacks, whilst developing existing employees into the Bartender/Barback position.
Facilitate club purchasing with the guidance of the Beverage Manager and Regional Beverage Director
Minimum 4 years in a management role in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry
Experience working across multiple properties or multi venue properties
Fine dining experience preferred
Experience overseeing a large beverage team, not limited to recruiting, training and developing the team
Experience overseeing liquor inventory with a proven track record of accuracy and meeting annual beverage budgets
Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves - a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever he or she asks of their team
Must possess effective communication skills for dealing with staff
Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility and leadership
