DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown is a full-service hotel located in the Omaha Metropolitan Area. The hotel features 415 rooms, including a variety of suites and guestrooms, as well as amenities such as a full-size swimming pool and fitness center. We also offer shuttle service to and from the airport and within a three mile radius of the hotel. The hotel also boasts 29,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 19th floor Executive Meeting Center and a Grand Ballroom, with catering and A/V professionals available.


Role Description

We are seeking an energentic, and well-organized banquet manager to provide our customers with a first-class banquet experience. As a banquet manager, you will work with the banquet sales director and the head chef to meet customer expectations. Your duties will include controlling the cost and the quality of services, preparing the venue, and coordinating the service of meals.


Qualifications

  • Customer Satisfaction, Customer Service, and Communication skills
  • Experience in Food & Beverage operations and management
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of banquet and event management software is a plus
  • Hospitality or related degree is preferred
