Villa is building America’s leading next-generation homebuilding platform. With a mission to be the easiest, fastest and most cost-efficient way to build homes, Villa is a highly scalable new approach to offsite homebuilding and is critical in solving the many problems facing the U.S. housing market. Villa provides end-to-end services for customers that span feasibility, design, permitting, and construction of high-quality homes built using modern offsite construction. Villa is currently the largest ADU builder in California and is growing rapidly into other housing products and geographies.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and organized Director of Business to Business (B2B) sales to serve as a player-coach for all major aspects of Villa’s institutional and scaled development channels. This person will focus on leading the team, executing Villa’s growth strategy and effectively building relationships with our largest customers. Ideal candidates will put their customer’s success first, and go above and beyond to find the best housing solution to match their needs.
This is a full-time, remote position that reports into the VP of Growth. We will only accept candidates based in California, Colorado, or Texas.

In addition to base salary, this role includes a variable commission component with no cap. There may be future opportunities for pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role. Full-time positions are also eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes medical health insurance, 401K, equity in the form of Stock Options, Paid Time Off, Short Term Disability leave, generous Parental Leave and a range of other benefits.

Role Overview

What You'll Do:
- Manage a sales team consisting of an SDR and Account Executive
- Monitor and report on B2B performance metrics and KPIs
- Collaborate with the VP of Growth to develop quarterly OKRs
- Drive B2B large institutional sales and scaled development for-a-fee consulting services
- Work hand-in-hand with estimating, legal, and preconstruction to ensure the validity and accuracy of proposed fee building projects from Kickoff to Contract
- Conduct initial Assessment Call and discovery as needed with the B2B SDR
- Manage and lead the customer Kickoff Call with the Villa estimator
- Provide consultation services to customers to evaluate project feasibility and cost
- Work closely with SDR to ensure meeting scheduling successfully occurs
- Salesforce data management (Kickoff Call through opportunity closed/won)
- Manage and coordinate project feasibility with estimating, construction and project managers
- Drive product collaboration between the customer and the Villa product team for non-ADU projects
- Coordinate and lead the Proposal Call with the customer’s team and the Villa estimator and construction managers
- Handle customer objections and negotiation
- Finalize the verbal deal into a contract B2B Project Services Agreement (PSA) Preconstruction Consulting Agreement (PCA) or Master Services Agreement (MSA)
- Negotiate terms like insurance, payment schedule, and overall deal structure
- Work closely with VP of Legal to secure agreed-upon contracts and documents
- Act as the subject matter expert on our product, providing prospects with peace of mind that we are unlike any company in the industry
- Attend project site visits, meetings, industry conferences, and travel as-needed throughout CA
- 5+ years sales experience, preferably working with large enterprise companies demonstrating proven results of hitting and exceeding goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience drafting clear communications that demonstrate attention to detail
- Willingness to engage people via phone, email and social media to articulate ideas and gain their trust
- A track record of personal accountability, and a high standard of integrity and professionalism. You’ve demonstrated resilience and a desire to succeed in the face of new and/or unforeseen challenges
- Demonstrates and embodies a “find a way” mentality to hit goals and deliver results
- Team player with a strong desire to help reinforce and improve internal processes
- A desire to learn, grow and get in on the ground floor of a company that is changing housing
- Receptive to feedback, with the willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement
- Background/fluency in homebuilding, multifamily and/or commercial real estate and construction sales is a bonus
