Job Title: Senior Azure Engineer

Position Summary:

As a Senior Azure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing their Azure infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. This position demands a versatile professional who can adeptly handle various technologies, including VMware, Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, and both on-premises and cloud-based M365 environments. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting their network and security infrastructure, including Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, and contributing to their DevOps initiatives. This role is within a small team of 5 members, including 2 based in India, operating in an all-hands-on-deck, multi-hat environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Azure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources. Implement and maintain Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery. Optimize cost and performance of Azure resources.

- Multi-Technology Support: Manage and support VMware environments. Implement and troubleshoot SSO technologies. Administer and support Exchange servers and M365 environments.

- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures using Carbon Black and Crowdstrike. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

- Network Management: Manage VNets and network security groups in Azure. Support Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls. Assist in network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- DevOps and Automation: Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps practices. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.

- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. Ensure the integrity and availability of backup and recovery solutions.

- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT team members to provide comprehensive support and solutions. Assist with end-user support as needed.

Qualifications:

Top 3 Skills:

- Microsoft Azure.

- VMware.

- Carbon Black or Crowdstrike.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure.

- Proficiency in VMware management.

- Experience with Exchange server administration and M365 support.

- Expertise in managing Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.

- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and Azure Site Recovery.

Security Skills:

- Experience with Carbon Black and Crowdstrike.

- Understanding of network security principles.
