Azure Data Factory, Snowflake ETL Developer/Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Factory Developer with expertise in Snowflake and ETL processes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, integrating with Snowflake for data warehousing, and implementing efficient ETL processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

Implement data integration solutions connecting various data sources to Snowflake data warehouse.

Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and deliver effective solutions.

Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of data pipelines and ETL jobs.

Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards in all development activities.

Document technical designs, processes, and procedures related to data integration and ETL.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Proven experience in developing data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform.

Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.

Experience with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning in Snowflake.

Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and familiarity with related services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Relevant certifications in Azure or Snowflake (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, SnowPro) would be a plus.
