Solutions Architect: Associate level and Pro Level
Overview: The AWS Solutions Architect will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on the AWS platform. This role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams, providing technical leadership, and ensuring successful cloud infrastructure deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture:
Develop and implement cloud solutions meeting client requirements.
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance AWS environments.
Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation.
Implementation:
Deploy and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and more.
Automate infrastructure management using CloudFormation, Terraform, and other IaC tools.
Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and GitLab.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure AWS environments comply with security best practices and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and practices.
Conduct security assessments and audits using AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and other tools.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with developers, operations, and security teams to integrate AWS solutions.
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and present technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor system performance and security using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools.
Optimize AWS infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS environments and services.
Disaster Recovery and Backup:
Design and implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies.
Utilize AWS services like S3, Glacier, and AWS Backup for data protection.
Data Management and Analytics:
Implement data storage solutions using AWS services like RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, and S3.
Utilize analytics tools such as AWS Athena, Glue, and QuickSight for data processing and visualization.
Networking:
Design and configure VPCs, subnets, security groups, and NACLs.
Implement hybrid cloud solutions with AWS Direct Connect and VPNs.
Project Management:
Oversee end-to-end implementation of cloud projects.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
Innovation and Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within cloud solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance AWS infrastructure.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and Professional.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with AWS services, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD, and security best practices.
