Title: AVP, Claims - High Personal Net-Worth

Location: Remote, USA

Responsibilities:

• Abide by and help develop claims best practices
• Create key relationships and build existing relationships within the market
• Perform appropriate and proactive claims handling activities in all phases of adjustments
• Work with brokers and TPA/Vendors (if needed) on adjustments
• Keep track of claim development, provide direction and find trends by using diaries
• Work with leadership on individual exposures, while researching competitor information, market intelligence
• Solid understanding of trends within the industry and legal environment
• Work with the underwriting team to analyze and give input on policy language
• Become the “face of claims” to brokers, policyholders, carriers and reinsurers

Qualifications:

• Adjuster license in relevant states
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
• At least 5+ years working on property claims
• Inland Marine claims experience preferred
• Track record of strong business development, must have a network of industry contacts
• Extensive coverage/contract knowledge
• Proficient in coverage application, litigation, and contractual relationships
• CPCU, SCLA, AIC, etc. are preferred
• Fine art and collectibles experience preferred
