Join a dynamic team in St. Louis specializing in aerospace innovation and technology! We are seeking an enthusiastic Avionics Installer I to support the integration of cutting-edge avionics systems.
Education And Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Six (6) months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.
General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Familiarity with using a multimeter.
Position Purpose
Under moderate supervision, you will assist in the removal/installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components as per blueprints and engineering drawings.
Work within allotted time frames to complete tasks.
Maintain required logs and records.
Adhere to company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and safety regulations.
Additional Functions
Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements
Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic Computer Skills And Software Knowledge Required.
Proficiency in English language.
