Role Description
This is a full-time role as an aviation sheet metal technician at Aviation Structural. As an Aviation Sheet Metal Technician, you will perform aircraft sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repairs. You will also inspect and assess aircraft structures, perform modifications and upgrades, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is based in Tucson, AZ, and it has flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
Experience in aircraft sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repairs
Knowledge of aircraft structures, components, and systems
Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals
Proficiency in using sheet metal tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
