Part-Time AV Technicians will help assist the Chaifetz Arena in-house production crew with a wide variety the arena events. This includes NCAA Division I basketball, concerts, shows, private events, etc...

This role will pay an hourly wage of $30.00.

Chaifetz Arena is a 10,600-seat venue sitting on the campus of Saint Louis University and is privately managed by OVG.

Since opening in 2008, Chaifetz Arena has served as the home venue for the SLU Billikens men's and women's basketball teams as well as hosted a diverse range of concerts, family shows, national sporting events, and much more. Audiences have enjoyed performances from Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Patti LaBelle, The Killers, Kelly Clarkson, Cirque du Soleil, Martin Lawrence, Brad Paisley, Disney On Ice, and many more critically acclaimed entertainment acts.

  • Assist with event day setup and teardown of AV equipment, including cameras, tripods, microphones, etc...
  • Serve as an operator for various positions on the in-house production crew (Ross XPression, NewTek 3Play, Daktronics Show Control, Technical Director, Camera Operator, Camera Shading, Grip)
  • Prior AV experience working in a live production setting is essential
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays based on the event schedule
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
