Job Summary:
The Automotive Warranty Administrator at Pinehurst Toyota in Southern Pines, North Carolina, is a full-time hourly administrative position within the automotive industry. Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims for new and used vehicles, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
- Communicate with manufacturers and customers to resolve any issues or discrepancies with warranty claims.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and associated documentation.
- Monitor and track warranty submissions, approvals, and payments.
- Work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure proper handling and filing of warranty claims.
- Stay updated on all manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit required reports to management on warranty claim activity.
- Assist with training and educating other dealership employees on warranty policies and procedures.
- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by the management team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in automotive warranty administration.
- Familiarity with warranty claim processing and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software.
- Knowledge of dealership management systems is a plus.
