Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician at Acura of Highland Park, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services on a wide range of vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and fix complex automotive problems.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and repairs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and manufacturer training.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training or ASE certification preferred.
Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Acura or other luxury brands.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
