Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles including cars, trucks, and buses.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot to find accurate and effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other automotive technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide excellent customer service while discussing vehicle issues and repair options with clients.
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; ASE certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic, especially in the transportation/logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds of dead weight.
• Capability to climb up and down ladders.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Flexibility to twist or turn in confined spaces.
