Job Title: Automotive Dealership General Manager

Dennis & Co. Auto Group is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and operate our expanding NY automotive dealership. Our portfolio includes twelve automotive brands across fifteen locations.

The Automotive Dealership General Manager will oversee all dealership operations to ensure profitable growth and enhance customer satisfaction. We are seeking seasoned leaders who can effectively leverage people, processes, and systems to maximize potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the dealership, including sales, service, parts, and finance departments

• Hire, train, and mentor department managers and staff

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address all customer concerns

• Ensure effective merchandising, promotional, and engagement activities to attract and retain customers

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability

• Oversee the ordering, inventory control, and merchandising of vehicles, parts, and accessories

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive dealership General Manager

• Preferred: Completion of NADA or NCM Dealer Academy

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing dealership operations

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills

• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans

• Proficiency in dealership management software and CRM systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Availability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
