JD Ross are currently working with a leading EPC looking to hire multiple AutoCAD Electrical Modelers on a 12 Month Contract. (Remote).
As an AutoCAD Electrical Modeler, you will be responsible for creating and modifying electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure the accuracy and quality of all electrical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure design accuracy.
- Review and verify the accuracy of design documents before submission.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical software and best practices.
Qualifications
- AS in Technology, Engineering, Design or related subject relating to CAD design work.
- 2 - 5 years’ experience working with AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and standards.
- Power Delivery / Substation Design experience would be desirable but not essential.
- Nuclear Power experience would also be desirable but not essential
