Principal Engineering Recruiter

  • Design and draft fire production products in accordance with all applicable codes within the scope of the contract.
  • Review project plans/documents.
  • Oversee design techniques, as assigned and overseeing block out and the layout for projects.
  • Assist with project coordination, initial scheduling, change requests, and technical assistance.
  • Field check project construction and handle field questions as needed.
  • Communicate all correspondence on the project schedule or manpower requests to the field superintendent.
  • Obtain all necessary approvals and reviews of the project design submittal.
  • Assist estimators and design staff with technical interpretations as needed.
  • Maintain engineering folders and records for each project.



  • 3-5+ years of experience.
  • NICET certifications a plus
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and/or HydraCad
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read and interpret system designs prepared by others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
