Insight Global is looking for a AV Tech to sit onsite for a simulation software engineering company. The AV Tech will be primarily responsible for responding to ticket requests and providing level one and level two IT support specific to AV technology and equipment. They will also be operating, setting up, and maintaining audio and visual equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring that all audio and visual equipment is up to safety standings, etc. A typical day will start off with sweeping each conference room to ensure AV equipment is operating, work on failed sweeps, and then respond to ticket requests, following through with documentation, and assisting with inventorying, live events, etc.
Responsibilities include -
Providing excellent executive level support
Ability to work closely with IT Services team responsible for providing first and second level IT support
Ability to train users on how to use MS Teams Rooms Systems
Participation in the installation of AV Systems - including audio and video conferencing equipment, digital signage, control systems and all presentation systems.
Ticket management for incoming or ongoing incidents
Escalate in accordance with standard procedures
Assist in Asset Management by helping to track materials across AV Systems
Perform all necessary pre-event checks as required.
