This role is with a prestigious law firm that stands as an industry leader, renowned for its unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation. They are currently looking to add an AV Technical Support Specialist to provide hardware and software support for the firm's conferencing rooms.
Respobsiltiites:
Tests, sets up, and resolves critical technical issues during:
Client and internal meetings that require video or audio conferencing, digital presentations, other audio/visual components, or computer technical support;
Employee training sessions that involve setup and removal of ad hoc training rooms with workstations, projection or video recording/playback;
On-site/remote depositions and arbitrations that require audio/visual presentation, video archiving, or technical support for material and expert witnesses, judges, visiting attorneys, and court-appointed staff;
Uses, maintains, troubleshoots, and provides basic repair for:
Portable and built-in video conference equipment
Built-in speakerphones, portable Polycom units and voice amplification systems;
Digital projectors, and document cameras;
Remotely controlled cameras, video and audio matrix switchers and control software;
Portable screens, LCD display monitors;
Built-in, boundary, and handheld microphones, lavalier microphones and receivers;
Overhead speakers, portable speakers, headphones and recorders;
Attends to the following IT Technical Support and duties:
Offers IT support for conference room attendees;
Loans out and sets up printers and laptops for short-term use;
Supports related software, ex. PowerPoint, iManage, Outlook and Windows Media Player;
Sets up and breaks down ad hoc computer/laptop workstations and training areas;
Maintains audio/visual stock and maintains AV inventory within ServiceNow Asset Management system;
Requirements:
Three to ten years of audio/visual experience with specific technical experience in the most popular video conference platforms such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and others;
