POSITION OVERVIEW:

The AV Programmer develops programs for enterprise customers to provide them with seamless integration to their audiovisual equipment. The AV Programmer is responsible for supporting Junior Programmers.


This is a remote job role

The salary range is $80,000 - $100,000


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather programming requirements and understanding what is required
  • Read and interpret AV systems drawings (CAD)
  • Design and development of custom graphical user interface (GUI) on control system touch panels
  • Develop systems integration programs for Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, and Biamp systems.
  • Ability to coordinate the creation and integration of A/V control system programs onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systems
  • Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code
  • Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting on complex AV systems
  • Ability to demonstrate completed system to client
  • Ability to work and think independently while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Responsible for always maintaining professional attitude and delivering excellent customer service

  • Ability to setup Dante networks
  • Experience with control systems, videoconferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup and calibration
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as: TCP/IP addressing, firewalls, routers, VLANs, and VPN
  • Ability to mentor and support Entry Level Programmers
  • Experience with proofing design and assisting in any adjustments that may be needed for a functional system
  • Experience with interface (GUI) design and graphics applications
  • Certified in the following: CTS, Crestron Master Silver, AMX, Extron, Biamp, and QSC Level


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated

When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

5+ years of programming experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Secret Clearance preferred but not required
